SUNY Adirondack Loses at Herkimer

The SUNY Adirondack Baseball team lost two games yesterday to Herkimer County Community College by the scores of, 21-2 and 13-3.

It was a tough day for the Timberwolves who struggled both offensively and defensively. Alec Burchhardt and Brandon Decker will take the losses for the Timberwolves.

Zach Malek was the Timberwolves leading hitter on the day. Malek went 3-5 in at bats on the afternoon that turned into 3 runs.

These two losses now put SUNY Adirondack at 10-17 on the season and 7-5 in conference play.

The Timberwolves will look to shake this one off and bounce back strong tomorrow when they will face off against Herkimer again to close out the season series. Tomorrow’s games will be at East Field Stadium and first pitch is scheduled for 2 PM.
