Timberwolves Win Over SUNY Schenectady
The SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves Baseball team picked up a win this afternoon against SUNY Schenectady by the score of 11-2.
The Timberwolves got the offense going early when Eric Corhouse scored off a Josh Myers single in the first inning.
SUNY Adirondack tallied four runs in the sixth inning. Alec Burchhardt, Josh Myers, Brent McGhee, and Connor Farrington each had RBIs in the frame.
Zach Malek was credited with a win for the Timberwolves. Malek went seven innings, allowing just three hits and two runs while striking out six batters and walking zero.
SUNY Adirondack totaled a season high 15 hits. Josh Myers, Joe Battista, Chancellor Stubblebine, Eric Corhouse, Mike Vellucci, and Connor Farrington each had a multi-hit game for SUNY Adirondack. Myers led the Timberwolves with three hits in four at bats.
After the win this afternoon the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves are now 4-12 on the season, and 1-0 in conference play. They will finish up the double header at Schenectady today before returning home on Thursday April 4th to finish the season series with the Schenectady Royals. Game times for Thursday are scheduled for 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM at East Field Stadium.
