Prior to Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Hollis enjoyed a standout playing career that began at John Tyler High in Tyler Texas and continued at Texas Southern, where he led the SWAC in scoring and won a conference championship. His playing career spanned the European continent as he played for Austrian, Spanish, Finnish, German and Slovak organizations before turning his attention to coaching.
"His high energy level really stood out during the interview process. He comes into every interaction with excitement and a positive attitude, which will lead to success on the recruiting trail, on the practice court, in competition, on the campus and in the community," said Sisk, " I am looking forward to seeing what the men's basketball program can become under his leadership."
