Camden Defeats Timberwolves
Camden defeated the Timberwolves 11 to 1 in game one of a Timberwolves double header as they continue their opening week. The green and gold were undone by uncharacteristic miscues on defense and on the mound.
Camden scored 11 runs, due in large part to 7 walks, 2 hits batsmen and 2 errors that led to several big innings. The nail in the coffin was a walk off home run in the 5th inning that was preceded by 5 walks in the inning included 3 in a row before the long ball.
Ramon Acosta and Erik Wettersten produced the only Timberwolves offense for the day as Acosta went 1 for 2 and scored the lone run, being driven in by Erik Wettersten's grounder that he beat out to reach on error.
The Timberwolves are right back to action at noon today as they take on Bergen for the second time this week.
