SUNY Adirondack
The SUNY Adirondack Baseball Team defeated Mohawk Valley Community College in two games at East Field on April 24th. The Timberwolves won game one 6-3 and game number two of the doubleheader 10-2.
In game one, Timberwolves starter Josh Brase earned the win. He went all seven innings, allowing four hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out eight. Erik Wettersten went 2-4 at the plate to lead Timberwolves while Jordan Prehoda had a big RBI double in the first inning of play.
In game two, Zach Vavasour earned the win for the Timberwolves. He lasted six innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out six and walking no one. SUNY Adirondack racked up a total of ten hits. Greg Johnson, Matt Zita and Aaron Cook all had mulit-hit games. Zita and Johnson had two RBI's a piece as well.
The Timberwolves return to action with a doubleheader versus Mohawk Valley on Thursday April 26th.
