Wettersten/ Prehoda De-Throne Royals
Erik Wettersten kept his flame kindled and stayed red hot in game two against Schenectady. His partner in offense switched up to Jordan Prehoda this game, but that produced the same result for the Royals. The Timberwolves completed the two game home series sweep with an 11 to 1 victory.
Wettersten put up a 4 for 4 day with 2 doubles, a run, an RBI and a stolen base. He was 7 for 7 for the series. Jordan Prehoda matched his impressive box score with a 4 for 4 day with 2 doubles, 2 runs and 2 RBI.
Eric Corhouse went 2 for 3 and Jayson Mullen collected a hit in his only plate appearance off the bench.
Josh Brase spun a gem in a complete game win. He threw all 5 innings, giving up only 1 earned run, 4 hits and struck out 5 batters.
The Timberwolves next play at Schenectady on May 3rd.
