Monroe Takes Down Baseball

Adirondack Baseball hosted played game two against Monroe but the outcome wasn't what they were hoping for. Gabriel Garcia and Dylan Cavanaugh were able to make it across the plate in the fourth inning for Adirondack first points of the game. Chino Maldonado singled on a line drive to center field, driving in Ryan Reagan and Aidan Parslow. A few Monroe errors allowed Garcia, Andrew Santa Barbara and Reagan score in the fifth inning. It wouldn't be enough for the win. Final score 16-7, Monroe
Santa Barbara, Garcia, John Wilsey, Reagan, Wyatt Cozzy and Maldonado each collected one hit for the Timberwolves. Maldonado led Adirondack with two runs batted in.
Kai Brennan started for the Timberwolves. He allowed seven hits and six runs over three innings, walking three. Matt Farese took the loss for Adirondack. The righty went one inning, giving up three runs on two hits, striking out one and walking four.
Adirondack is back at home on Thursday evening in a non-league game against Region 15 SUNY Orange.
