Adirondack was looking to make a turn-around after a loss to Monroe earlier in the day. Thomas McKay grounded out, scoring one run. The Timberwolves took advantage of a Monroe error to add another run to the board. The last run for the Timberwolves came in the top of the fifth inning when Kai Brennan grounded out allowing Jared Potter to score. Colby Frazier took the loss for Adirondack. The righty went three innings, giving up six runs on eight hits, striking out two and walking two. AJ Garcia offered some relief throwing one inning, giving up six hits and five runs, walking one. Cody Nelson finished up the game for Adirondack, facing nine pitchers, giving up two runs on three hits, striking out one and walking one.
The Timberwolves travel to Mohawk Valley for a conference doubleheader on Sunday.
