Timberwolves Fall to Hudson Valley
The Timberwolves weren't able to steal a win down I-87.
The Timberwolves traveled the short distance to Hudson Valley to battle the Vikings, but foul trouble sunk their chances of stealing a win at Hudson Valley. Demani Smith played very well early on as he cruised to 11 points and 6 rebounds within the first 10 minutes of the contest, but unfortunately also picked up 2 fouls, which sat him for the rest of the half. He watched his team take on water as the half progressed and Hudson Valley held a 52 to 35 lead going into the locker room. Smith would stay out of foul trouble in the second half, but only added 8 points and 3 rebounds as the Vikings extended their lead and ended the contest with a 95 to 65 victory.
Elijah Davis caught fire late in the first half and scored 10 points in a 3 minute span and ended the game with 12 points, good for second on the team in points.
The Timberwolves next play at home on Saturday the 18th against Fulton Montgomery.
