Another Win Builds Men's Basketball Confidence

Adirondack Men's Basketball played their last regular season home game in front of a full house, hosting conference opponent Columbia-Greene. Adirondack is working to secure a post-season slot and every win gets them closer to that goal. From the first bucket, Adirondack controlled the game and held a respectable lead at the half, up by 19 points. The Timberwolves persisted in the second half and received good production for players coming off the bench. Both starters and reserves had thirteen points coming from behind the arc. Donnell Campbell led the team in points. He earned a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Ben Aprilante also collected a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal. Cam Majors put up 17 points, pulled down 9 rebounds and had 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks. Coming off the bench and boosting the score were Xavier Sanchez and Jaden Wheatley. Sanchez contributed 13 points and 1 assist while taking 2 rebounds and 2 steals. Wheatley added 11 points of his own.
Adirondack is on the road in regional play on Saturday at Onondaga Community College.
