Boyce and Hollister Crack Top Ten
The bowling squad rolled back to Utica to take part in a conference match against Hudson Valley, Schenectady, Fulton-Montgomery, Herkimer and Mohawk Valley. They battled in the first game and settled in at third place behind Hudson Valley and Schenectady due to excellent opening games from Hollister, Seaver and Boyce. Boyce led all bowlers with a 258, followed by Seaver's 248 and Hollister's 226.
Unfortunately it began to fall apart in the second game as they fell to 5th where they would remain for the rest of the match. In the second game only Boyce cracked 200 with a 236 and in the third game only Hollister would breach the threshold with a 212. They returned to form in the second half of the six game set, but it wasn't enough to overcome the early deficit.
Boyce led the team in scoring in game 4 with a 257 followed by Hollister's 224 and they reversed roles in game 5 with Hollister coming in at 228 and Boyce adding a 205. The team cracked 1000 for the first time since game 1 as they closed out on a positive note, sending 3 bowlers over 200 and having another on the door step with 194. Hollister came in at 246, Seaver added 226, Boyce finished up with 202 and King put up his best game of the day with a 194.

Also noteworthy is that Grieco of Mohawk Valley bowled a 300 game in his 5th game, the first 300 game of the conference season.
The Timberwolves next bowl at home on Tuesday the 30th against Paul Smith's. They bowl their home contests at Kingpin's Alley in South Glens Falls.
