Timberwolves Take 2nd Straight 2nd Place Finish
The golf team dealt with severe weather all weekend and pushed through for a great opening weekend as they took 2nd place in the Tompkins Cortland Open.
They put up an even better team score than the day before, but were just a little shy of Onondaga that took the win by 5 strokes.
Ben Hersey shot a 72, tying him for 4th place, but trailing the medalist by only 1 stroke for the second straight tournament. He improved his score by 4 strokes from his last tournament. Ryan Bussing followed him up with a 77, 3 strokes better than his prior tournament and good for a tie for 8th place. Kyle Wilson put up a 80, 8 strokes improved from his last tournament and Garrett Stevens shot an 85, a 5 stroke improvement. Brett Lloyd improved the most from tournament 1 to 2 with an 11 stroke advancement to shoot 89.
