Coach Ramirez had his team ready to play against the Thunderwolves as they came out hot and never cooled down. The first half was a little slow as the team's felt each other's game plan out and the home team was only able to find pay dirt once on a great Kalab Helms goal to take the team into the locker room tied 1-1. The half time speech must have been quite motivational as they would add 4 goals, 2 from Fitzpatrick who also had 2 assists on the day. Bailey Dray scored on a beautiful cross to complement his outstanding defensive effort and Alec Potter beat the keeper for the fifth of the team's 5 goals on the day.
Eli Goewen just missed a shutout as he allowed a ball to slip through his hands very early in the match. He held Niagara scoreless for 83 minutes after giving up the goal.
The Timberwolves next play Monday at home against Word of Life on Autism Awareness Day. Come out and wear blue!
