The Timberwolves traveled to Tompkins Cortland to battle the Panthers on Wednesday under the lights. Ethan Otoupal made his goal keeping debut and performed admirably after the Panthers welcomed him to the world of college goal keeping with an early goal in the first 2 minutes of play. He saved a plethora of shots and kept his team in the game as Jack Fitzpatrick tried desperately to even it up throughout much of the contest. Fitzpatrick took 7 shots total for the day and put 5 on goal, including hitting the cross bar twice, but couldn't find the back of the net. Richard Morris put up 2 shots and also found the cross bar on one of his attempts. The ending score could have easily been 4-2 Timberwolves, but luck was not on our side as we fell 2-0 to the Panthers.
The Timberwolves next play this weekend at Erie.
