The Timberwolves traveled to Fulton Montgomery and clashed horns with the Raiders in a match with playoff implications and intensity definitely showed up to the party as both teams fought hard for 90 minutes in a defensive stalemate that saw the clock hit 0's with no score. In overtime the Raiders put one past keeper Eli Goewen that was hotly contested as it appeared that he was held on the play, but the goal would stand and the host Raiders would take the match one to nil. It was particularly disappointing for Coach Ramirez, who lamented that not one of 18 shots on goal found the back of the net.
"It is disappointing to play that well and come away with a loss," said Coach Ramirez.
The Timberwolves next play at Cayuga on Saturday the 14th.
