Flint Stays Hot In Loss to New Hampshire Tech
New Hampshire Tech scored 4 runs in the first inning off of work horse Bailey Hasemann, which proved to be enough to get the win over the Timberwolves. They would add 1 run in each of the 3rd and 5th innings before opening it up with a 5 spot in the 6th inning to complete the 11-0 victory.
Hasemann has carried a heavy load so far this week, pitching in all but one of the Timberwolves contests and tallying 21 innings pitched in 3 days. Elizabeth Richards completed the other 9 innings played. With 3 more games scheduled this week in Florida, we will likely see one of her teammates step up to take some of the innings as the week progresses.
Danielle Flint continued to pound softballs as she doubled once again in a 1 for 1 effort with a walk. Kiersten Brown also doubled and went 2 for 2 with a stolen base.
The Timberwolves have a day of rest before playing again on the 15th against Rowan College of Gloucester County and a rematch with Spoon River.
