Timberwolves Fall To Iowa Central
The Timberwolves fell behind early as Iowa Central put up 6 1st inning runs en route to a 9 to 1 loss.
Iowa Central tacked on another run in the 2nd, but the Timberwolves would stage a comeback attempt in the third as Elizabeth Richards drove in Bailey Hasemann with an infield grounder, but it wouldn't be enough as the opposition put up 2 more runs in the 5th to end the contest.
Richards was the offense for the Timberwolves as she was the catalyst for the only run of the game and collected the only extra base hit of the contest with a double in the 5th inning. Kiersten Brown ended her day 1 for 2 and both Hannah Grady and Ronasia Charles reached base in their only plate appearances with a walk and hit by pitch respectively.
The Timberwolves continue their season on March 27th as they visit Broome.
