Hasemann Lights Out In The Dome
Timberwolves Softball opened their home schedule at the Adirondack Sports Complex against Mohawk Valley and did so in grand fashion!
Bailey Hasemann was literally untouchable as she mowed through the Eagles lineup. The visiting team struggled, not just to make solid contact, but to make contact at all as Hasemann racked up 10 strikeouts on the day including 5 batters in a row in the 3rd and 4th innings. They only managed 4 hits and 1 unearned run off of her and she was never in any trouble other than the 1 error inning, in which she struck out the final two batters to end the threat.
Hasemann wasn't just the pitching hero though, she brought her stick to the game as well. She went 2 for 3 while scoring 3 runs and driving in a run herself. She also walked. Danielle Flint continued her torrid pace going 3 for 4 and stealing 2 bags and Kaylee Coon hit a monster 3 run home run in the 4th to blow the game wide open.
The Timberwolves would end the contest early in the 6th inning on a Flint single to reach the mercy rule, 9 to 1.
The Timberwolves play the second game of the double header immediately.
