The Twins jumped on the Timberwolves early in their second game, scoring 9 runs in the first two innings. Despite a valiant come back attempt, it would be enough to get out with a 9-7 win.
Bailey Hasemann pitched 6 innings of 1 hit, shut out ball in relief to allow the offense to chip away and almost overtake the Twins, but they ran out of time. Carly Hildenbrandt provided much of the offense as they chased Columbia-Greene, hitting two long home runs and driving in 3. Kaylee Coon doubled and scored twice.
The Timberwolves next play on Thursday in a make up contest at Fulton Montgomery.
