Timberwolves Continue Hot Play In Region
The Timberwolves won a see saw affair in Fulton Montgomery to continue their hot play in Region III. They took the contest 12 to 9.
The offense powered Coach Celeste's squad to a win behind the outstanding play of Elizabeth Richards, who ended her night 3 for 4 with 2 triples. Carly Hildenbrandt added to the hitting with a 2 for 3 day that included a triple of her own and a walk. Bailey Hasemann and Hannah Grady drove in 3 runs each to lead in the run production category.
The game was tied going into the bottom of the 6th, but the bats caught fire as the first 7 batters reached base and Hasemann cleared the bases in the midst of the excitement with a 3 RBI double to punctuate the scoring. They would put up 6 runs in the inning to cement the win.
The Timberwolves next play at Finger Lakes, Saturday May 5th.
