The Lady Timberwolves are struggling through a string of tough injuries as they fight to stay in the Region III race. Without two of their key players the team battled up and down the field with Hudson Valley and kept them at bay until the 24 minute mark in the first half, when they broke through with their first goal. They would add two more goals in the half as goal keeper, Kaylee Coon again put on a super woman act saving 14 en route to a 27 save performance. This is her third consecutive game of 20 saves or more, but unfortunately the team is 1-2 in that string of matches. Lauren Vetter and Hannah Gould led the offense as Vetter shot four times and put it on goal twice with Gould shooting three times and putting it on goal twice. The only other shot for the day came from Emily Vetter on a great crossing route that just missed being the sole goal for the Lady Timberwolves on the day.
The Lady Timberwolves next play Corning at home on Sunday the 17th.
