The Lady Timberwolves came into the day looking to right the ship against the Red Barons of Corning, but their evasive action was too much for the anti-air craft attack of the Timberwolves. The Red Barons consistently attacked the SUNY ADK defense to the tune of 21 shots on goal and 5 goals, despite terrific matches from Wasana Fleming and Abigail Dickinson who turned away a plethora of Corning attacks. Kaylee Coon just missed continuing her streak of 20+ saves as she secured 16 in the match.
The Timberwolves best chance to score was a break away from Lauren Vetter that saw her rocket passed three defenders, control the ball in front of the goal and shoot just right of the goal. She was behind the defense all day with her blazing speed, but was only able to get off one shot on goal.
The Lady Timberwolves next play at Clinton Wednesday the 20th.
