Undefeated Onondaga Defeats Timberwolves
The Timberwolves fell to Onondaga who remains undefeated.
September 30, 2017
The Timberwolves were overmatched by host Onondaga who came into the match undefeated and looking to make a statement to jump into the national rankings. Onondaga received votes last week, but fell just short of the top 10 and will be looking to be on the leader board next week. They certainly looked like a team deserving of the accolade against the Timberwolves as they won in straight sets and held the SUNY Adirondack offense impotent. Isabella Shrestha and Maya Philips combined for 4 kills after combining for 29 in the match prior. Kaicey Sardina dug 17 balls, but that wasn't enough to stop the heavy offensive attack of the Lazers.
The Timberwolves have a short break before finishing their POD play day at Onondaga against Cayuga.
