Jefferson defeated the Timberwolves 3 to 1 in the opening match of POD play at Hudson Valley.
Jefferson took the first set 25 to 18. Adirondack bounced back to dominate the second set 25 to 9, but Jefferson righted the ship and took the next two sets 25 to 22 and 25 to 12.
Sophomore Victoria Bruni led the team in digs with 34 while collected 7 kills, an ace and a block. Breanna MacDuff assisted on 27 kills.
Freshmen Morgan Bellanger and Karley Hertzner played spectacularly as they killed 10 points each, while Bellanger added 2 blocks and Hertzner added 3 blocks and an ace.
