Onondaga Defeats Timberwolves
Coach Li's squad fought hard against the Lazers of Onondaga, but came up just short in a 5 set battle that took extra points to complete.
Adirondack took set one 25 to 20, fell in set two 25 to 18, took set three 25 to 20, dropped set four 25 tp 18 and went into the final set tied at two sets each.
The fifth set was one for the highlight reel as it was all tied up at 15 before the Lazers rattled off two straight points to take the set and match.
Sophomore Victoria Bruni starred for the Timberwolves as she dug 40 balls, killed 6 points, served 2 aces and picked up a block. Breanna MacDuff assisted on 34 kills and was able to spread the opportunities around as three freshmen collected at least 10 points. Karley Hertzner led with 10 kills, 4 aces and 4 blocks. Morgan Bellanger continued her impressive development with 9 kills, 1 ace and 2 blocks and Jana Depalo killed 10 points and 1 block.
