More Wins For Volleyball

Adirondack Volleyball was supposed to host Hudson Valley and Onondaga on Saturday in the last rounds of regional play. Unfortunately, there was a multi-day power outage on the SUNY Adirondack campus and all completion was relocated to Hudson Valley Community College. The #5 Regionally ranked Timberwolves took it all in stride and were matched up against Hudson Valley for a second time in five days. The Vikings took the first set by two points. Adirondack easily won the second set but the battle was back on for the third and forth sets. The Timberwolves came out on top in the end. 23-25, 25-14, 25-22, 30-28. Final score 3-1, Adirondack.
The second match of the day was against Onondaga. The Lazers proved to be a competitive team but the Timberwolves managed to get the win in three straight sets. 25-20, 25-18, 25-22. Final score 3-0, Adirondack.
Adirondack ends their regular season with a 14-6 record.
The volleyball team travels to Fulton-Montgomery on Saturday for Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference play. They open with #3 Hudson Valley. The Timberwolves will play the winner of #1 Fulton-Montgomery v #4 Herkimer match up.
