Volleyball Streak Extends To Six

Adirondack Volleyball took the short ride south to Hudson Valley Community College to compete in two Regional match-ups. The Timberwolves made quick work of Corning Community College taking them in three straight sets. Lacey Russell lead the team with 13 digs while Kendell Clements had 12 digs, 2 kills and 9 assists. Miranda Mash had 10 digs and 4 kills on the match. Lillirose Prevost and Samantha Manning contributed 6 and 5 kills, respectively. Final scores, 25-9, 25-15, 25-18; Adirondack 3-0.
The big weekend battle came when the Timberwolves took on SUNY Broome. Each set when down to the wire and made for very exciting volleyball. Adirondack won the second and third sets while Broome held the first and fourth. The fifth set finished in great excitement and relief to Adirondack, 15-13.
23-25, 25-21, 25-23, 23-25, 15-13. Lillian Slattery had 44 digs, 9 kills and 3 assists and 3 aces. Lillirose Prevost added 32 digs, 14 assists and 5 kills. Miranda Mash had 25 digs, 10 kills and 3 aces. Lacey Russell has 22 digs, 3 aces and 2 assists. Final score, 3-2 Adirondack.
The team hosts Herkimer in conference play on Tuesday, Oct. 3rd.
