Women's Basketball Continues To Battle
December 6
Queensbury, NY
Adirondack Women’s Basketball hosted their last home game of the semester when they took on #4 regionally ranked Fulton-Montgomery. With a depleted roster, the Timberwolves looked for support from some athletic colleagues that play a different type of ball on the same court. It proved to be a success, if not for the scoreboard. Although the Raiders were the dominate team, Adirondack’s desire to work hard caused their opponent some frustration.
The Timberwolves were led by newcomer Samantha Manning, putting up 13 points and grabbing 1 rebound. Tatania Tyrell earned her first double-double scoring 11 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Final score 79-33, Fulton-Montgomery.
Adirondack is on the road this weekend, wrapping up semester, against Genesee and Corning.
