Women's Soccer Draw With FMCC
September 6
Queensbury, NY
SUNY Adirondack Women's Soccer played their home opener in the new turf stadium to a full crowd under the lights against Fulton-Montgomery. The Raiders struck first, late in the first half. But the Timberwolves held their own and tied up the game early in the second off a goal by Alyssa Crossman, assisted by Tori Granger. Although Adirondack put the ball in the net a second time to take the lead, it was called back because they had an extra player on the field. Goalkeeper, Cheyenne Shufelt saved 9 of the 10 shots she saw. Final score, T 1-1.
Adirondack it back on the field this weekend with a double header.
