October 21
Gloversville, NY
SUNY Adirondack Women’s Soccer continued to break boundaries when they traveled to Gloversville High School to take on Fulton-Montgomery Community College in the first round of Regional play. This was the second year in a row the Timberwolves qualified for post-sason play in the very competitive region. Adirondack was seeded #9, with Fulton-Montgomery in the #8 spot.
Adirondack dominated the majority of the first half and had opportunities to score but couldn’t find the back of the net. They kept the pressure up in the second half but a lapse in the second half had them giving up the lone goal of the game. Adirondack out shot Fulton-Montgomery 9-4. Final score 1-0, Fulton-Montgomery.
The quarterfinal loss meant the end of the season for the Timberwolves. Their final record, 3-8-3.
