Baseball Triumphs Over Rockland

SUNY Adirondack Baseball played their second game of the double header against Rockland, and finished with a better result. The Timberwolves got on the board in the third inning after Jake Terwilliger singled, scoring two runs. Wyatt Cozzy grounded out in the top of the fourth allowed Tyree Parker to cross home plate.
Rockland took the lead by just one point in the bottom of the sixth with some hits and off some Adirondack errors. The Timberwolves rallied in the top of the seventh when Liam Helm singled, scoring one run, a Rockland error scored one run and Kyle Kristel singled, scoring two runs.
Brody Rogers was on the mound for Adirondack. He surrendered zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking none. Dylan Cavanaugh, Kai Brennan and Xavier Garcia each came on in relief for the Timberwolves and shutdown the Hawks. Final score 7-4, Adirondack
Adirondack will head to the Orlando, FL area for their next round of games during Spring Break. They face Minnesota State Community and Technical College the evening of March 9th.
