Good Pitching And Hot Bats Produce Win For Baseball

SUNY Adirondack opened with their first Spring Break game against Minnesota State Community & Technical College on Saturday evening. The Timberwolves put their first run on the board in the second inning and continued the steady accumulation of points throughout the game. John Wilsey collected four hits in five at bats, including a double in the second inning, a single in the third and ninth and a home run in the sixth. Adirondack tallied 14 hits in the game. Gabriel Garcia, Aiden Parslow and Peyton Richardson each collected multiple hits for the Timberwolves.
Three pitchers collaborated for the shut out. Terel Tillman started on the mound for Adirondack. The righty gave up zero hits and runs over six innings, striking out 11 and walking one. Brody Rogers and Dylan Cavanaugh each came on in relief helping shut out Minnesota State Community and Technical College. Final score 9-0, Adirondack
The Timberwolves have a quick turn-around, and Daylight Saving Time, to contend with in a run up for their game against Century College on Sunday morning.
