Strong Showing By Genesee Leaves Timberwolves Behind

It turned out to be a tough day for Adirondack Baseball when they took the field against Regional neighbor Genesee Community College. The game started to get away from the Timberwolves when the Cougars put five runs on the board in the third inning and again in the fourth inning. They added another four runs in the fifth inning. Adirondack's Colby Frazier singled on a line drive to left field, in the bottom of the fifth inning, driving in Jack Taylor for the lone run of the game for the Timberwolves.
Colby Frazier, Gabriel Barcia, Kyle Kristel, John Wilsey, Riley Montanye and Aiden Parslow each collected a hit for Adirondack. Frazier went 1-for-2 at the plate, with one run batted in.
Caleb Nelson started the game for the Timberwolves. The righty gave up five hits and five runs (three earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking three. Andrew Santa Barbara and Owen Rowe each threw an inning for the Timberwolves. Final score 14-1, Genesee
