Baseball Gets Win In Pitching Duel

A pitching duel kept the score low in Adirondack Baseball's last game of Spring Break play against Prairie State College.  It wasn't until the sixth inning when the Timberwolves put a run on the board.  Riley Montanye singled, scoring the run.  Liam Helm drove in the only other run in the seventh inning.  John Wilsey went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Adirondack in hits.  The Timberwolves turned one double play in the game. 

Xavier Garcia started the game for SUNY Adirondack and recorded 21 outs.  Garcia surrendered two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking two.  Final score 2-0, Adirondack

The Timberwolves wrap up the week 4-4.  The team head home to start regional play on the road on March 28 against Cayuga Community College.
