SUNY Adirondack Baseball opened regional play on the road against Cayuga Community College. It was a slow start for the Timberwolves allowing the Spartans to get on the board first, with two runs in the bottom of the second inning. Adirondack took the lead in the top of the third, thanks to doubles by John Wilsey and Liam Helm. Three runs scored. Cayuga continued to persist adding 11 runs over the next four innings.
Terel Tillman started on the mound for Adirondack. He surrendered eight hits and eight runs (six earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out five and walking two. AJ Garcia, Andrew Santa Barbara and Cody Nelson all faced batters for the Timberwolves in an effort to turn things around. Final score 13-3, Cayuga
