Powerful Pitching From Tillman Carry Baseball Past Jefferson

SUNY Adirondack Baseball hosted regional opponent Jefferson Community College on a brisk spring afternoon. Although Jefferson was first to put a run on the board, Adirondack's bats came alive in the bottom of the first inning scoring five runs on four hits. Kyle Kristel singled on a line drive, Chino Maldonado tripled, scoring Kristel. Jake Terwilliger singled on a line drive scoring Maldonado and John Wilsey. Ryan Reagan hit a ground ball that brought Terwilliger home. Andrew Santa Barbara doubled on a line drive and Reagan scored. The second inning proved almost as productive as the first. Wilsey doubled on a line drive. Jared Potter singled on a line drive to center field, scoring Wilsey and Terwilliger. Wyatt Cozzy scored on a passed ball. A Gabriel Garcia walk brought Potter across the plate for the last point of the inning.
Terwilliger lead the Timberwolves with three runs batted in. The team collected three stolen bases and didn't commit a single error.
Terell Tillman was on the hill for Adirondack. He gave up five hits and two runs over six innings, walking one and striking out 10. Final score 12-2, Adirondack
