Adirondack Baseball hosted regional opponent Monroe on a chilly Sunday afternoon in game one of a doubleheader. Adirondack struggled to put points on the board all game. The Timberwolves were able to capture the lead in the bottom of the third inning thanks to singles by Juan Cornelio and Cody Nelson. Adirondack collected eleven hits to Monroe's nine but couldn't make them count. Colby Frazier led the Timberwolves with four hits. Nelson, Thomas McKay and Cornelio each drove in a run.
AJ Garcia took the loss for Adirondack. The southpaw went four innings, allowing eight runs on eight hits, striking out one and walking three. Chris Bedard offered relief for Garcia going three innings, giving up one hit and striking out one. Final score 8-3, Monroe
