Strong Win For Baseball Against Jefferson

SUNY Adirondack Baseball traveled to Watertown, NY to take on regional opponent Jefferson Community College in an evening doubleheader. The Timberwolves got on the board in the top of the first inning after Andrew Santa Barbara doubled, and a Jefferson error, each scoring two runs. A single by Wyatt Cozzy extended the lead to 5-2 in the top of the third inning. John Porter singled in the top of the fourth, scoring Kyle Kristel. Jake Terwilliger hit a ground ball and a Jefferson error allowed Wilsey and Santa Barbara to score. The trend continued into the fifth inning with Gabriel Garcia hitting a single, scoring Kristel. Another Cannoneers error allowed Jared Potter to score while another hit allowed Garcia to score. The Timberwolves wrapped it up in the sixth inning on a Kristel single, allowing Peyton Richardson to score.
Brody Rogers earned the win for Adirondack. The righty surrendered six hits and two runs over six innings, striking out three and walking two. Final score 12-2, Adirondack
