Baseball Lose To Herkimer After Seventh Inning Attack

SUNY Adirondack Baseball hosted conference foe Herkimer in their last regular season home games. The Timberwolves were the first to get on the board in the first inning when a Herkimer error scored at run. Gabriel Garcia grounded out in the bottom of the fifth inning, helping Adirondack tie the game at two. Chino Maldonado singled on a line drive, bringing home another run. But the Generals caught fire in the seventh inning putting six runs on the board. The Timberwolves couldn't answer.
Maldonado led Adirondack in runs batted in. Andrew Santa Barbara, Jared Potter, Jake Terwilliger, Kyle Kristel also collected one hit. Final score 8-3, Herkimer
Terel Tillman took the loss for Adirondack. The starter went six and two-thirds innings, surrendering eight runs on ten hits, striking out five and walking three.
