Baseball Drops Home Opener to Rockland 4-0

SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves lost to Rockland Community College 4-0 on Sunday after a competitive 3-5 start to their season in Florida for the RussMatt Invitational.
Rockland Community College opened the scoring in the first after Barbosa singled, scoring one run. Neglia earned the win for Rockland Community College. The hurler surrendered three hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out eight and walking three.
Dylan Cavanaugh took the loss for SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves. The starting pitcher went six and one-third innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on five hits, striking out two and walking three. Peyton Richardson, AJ Cowles, and Cody Nelson each collected one hit for SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves. SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves turned one double play in the game. Barbosa and Ulrich each collected two hits for Rockland Community College.
Barbosa and Ulrich each drove in one run for Rockland Community College. Rockland Community College didn't commit a single error in the field. Barbosa had the most chances in the field with eight.
The Timberwolves are on the road this weekend against Herkimer College for a Double-Header on Sunday at 12:00pm.
