Timberwolves Fall to Finger Lakes
The SUNY Adirondack Men's Basketball team lost Sunday afternoon to the Finger Lakes Community College Lakers, 77-62.
The Timberwolves, coming off a loss to Corning Saturday, came out in this game and played their best half of basketball this season. They held a 42-38 lead over the Lakers going into the half, unfortunately the offense they had rolling in the first half fell off after halftime and they were outscored 39-20 in the second half.
Dion Williams was the leading scorer for the Timberwolves, scoring 15 points while also filling out the rest of the stat sheet with 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 steals, and a block. Mouhamed Diagne recorded a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
This loss puts the Timberwolves at 0-9 on the year. They will have the week off for the holiday and will be back in action next on Thursday December 5th when they will be host to the defending NJCAA National Champion Herkimer Generals. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM at the Sage College of Albany.
