Timberwolves Lose to Fulton-Montgomery
The SUNY Adirondack Men's Basketball team lost Sunday afternoon to the Fulton-Montgomery Community College Raiders, 90-78.
What was a tied game going into the halftime at 39 each got away from the Timberwolves thanks in large part to a strong shooting performance from Fulton-Montgomery. The Timberwolves also saw three key players foul out early in the second half, making it difficult to keep up with the Raiders.
Sophomore guard Tavon Price led the Timberwolves on offense and defense, scoring a team high 33 points, dishing out a team high 8 assists, as well as collecting a team high 4 steals.
Freshman guard Victor Roca shot 6-10 from behind the arc and scored 20 points in the hard fought loss.
Freshman guard Christian Russell also had a good day scoring the ball, scoring 17 points on better than fifty percent shooting from the floor.
Freshman Center Devon Singleton led the Timberwolves in rebounding with 11 total boards in limited action.
Following the loss, the Timberwolves are now 1-16 on the season. They will be back in action next on Wednesday when they host conference opponent Hudson Valley Community College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
