Timberwolves Fall to Hudson Valley
The SUNY Adirondack Men's Basketball team lost on Wednesday night to the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings, 98-68.
The Timberwolves struggled to contain the Vikings right from the tip. They gave up 50 points in the first half, yet only found themselves down 13 at the half thanks in large part to a great offensive night from Tavon Price.
Price was the only SUNY Adirondack player to score in double digits, scoring 32 points on better than fifty percent shooting percentage. This is his third straight game scoring at least 30 points. Price also had 5 rebounds and a team high 3 steals in the loss.
Devon Singleton led the Timberwolves in rebounds with 11, he also recorded 6 blocked shots.
Following the loss, the Timberwolves are now 1-17 on the season. They will be back in action next on Friday January 31st when they will host North Country Community College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
