Men's Basketball Falls Short at Word of Life
The SUNY Adirondack Men's Basketball team lost Wednesday night to the Word of Life Huskies, 92-79.
It was a slow start for the Timberwolves who fell down on the scoreboard early and trailed the Huskies 51-27 at the half. They rallied in the second half to cut into the deficit but ultimately fell short.
Sophomore guard Tavon Price led the Timberwolves on offense, scoring 32 points. This is now the sixth consecutive game Price has reached at least 30 points. Price added 7 rebounds and 2 steals in the contest.
Victor Roca and Christian Russell also scored in double figures for the Timberwolves, Roca with 20 points and Russell with 13.
Freshman center Devon Singleton let the Timberwolves in rebounds with 10. Singleton also had a game high 7 blocks.
Following the loss, the Timberwolves are now 1-20 on the season. Their next opportunity will come on Saturday the 8th, when they will host the Tompkins Cortland Community College Panthers. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
