Conference Win For Men's Basketball

The winning continues for SUNY Adirondack Men's Basketball! The Timberwolves hosted conference rival Clinton Community College in a mid-week match-up. Both teams hit the floor, holding their own, and keeping the score close. It wasn't until later in the first half that Adirondack was able to gain the lead, but by only a few points. With both teams battling throughout the second half, the Timberwolves were able accumulated a double-digit lead multiple times but struggled to maintain it. The Cougars continued to chip away at any substantial lead for Adirondack and with three minutes remaining in the game, Clinton was just one point off the lead. Ultimately, the Timberwolves were able to hold off the pressure and finish with the win. Final score 86-84, Adirondack
Tyre Williams lead the team with 20 points, 4 assists, 6 steals and 3 rebounds. Cam Majors put up 16 points, pulled down 5 rebounds and had 2 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal. Ben Aprilante had another double-double game putting up 10 points and pulling in 13 rebounds.
The Timberwolves take a weekend road trip with match-ups against Finger Lakes and Cayuga.
