Good Win For Men's Basketball And Sophomores

Adirondack Men's Basketball hosted regional opponent Jefferson on a day when the Timberwolves sophomores were recognized for their commitment to the program. The five starters were sophomores that wouldn't have normally taken the court first. They proved their worth hitting, taking a 6-0 lead. Jefferson settled in and took the lead back until Adirondack starting rolling in their bigger contributors. It took the full half but the Timberwolves had the lead going in to the second half. When the teams returned to the court, Adirondack took control out-scoring the Cannoneers by 20 points. Adirondack improved their record to 10-14. Final score 87-65, Adirondack
Ben Aprilante led the team with 18 points, 3 assists and 7 rebounds. Donnell Campbell and Tyre Williams each contributed 15 points. Campbell also had 7 assist, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Williams had 4 assist, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Adirondack host conference foe Columbia-Greene in a mid-week match-up on Thursday.
