Men's Basketball Wins Home Opener

SUNY Adirondack Men's Basketball hosted conference opponent Clinton Community College in their home opener on Wednesday night. The Timberwolves came out fired up and consistently hitting shots. They took a 17-0 lead over the Cougars. Clinton finally settled in and pushed back on Adirondack but the Timberwolves kept control. The score at half time had Adirondack up by 19 points. It would prove to be needed because Clinton outscored the Timberwolves by four points in the second half. The final result had Adirondack winning their first home opener since the 2017-18 season.
Eugene Johnson pulled down 13 rebound and had 2 blocks for 21 points. Tyre Williams put up 17 points with 6 assists while Jude Wilkins had 17 points, 4 assists and grabbed 6 rebounds.
Final score: 94-79 Adirondack
Adirondack is back on the court November 13 in a match-up against conference rival Columbia-Greene.
