Adirondack Men's Basketball was on the road Sunday visiting #4 regionally ranked Tompkins Cortland. The Timberwolves were looking for their first road win, and at the end of the first half, they appeared to be headed in the right direction. Adirondack held a six-point lead at the half. Unfortunately, the Timberwolves weren't able to sustain and the Cougars worked their way back and tied the game just minutes into the second half. The teams battled for the remainder of the game with TC3 taking a five-point lead with about six minutes remaining. Adirondack continued to work but couldn't catch-up.
Jaylan Sammy had 2 rebounds a steal and a block and earned all his 23 points in the first half. Xavier Sanchez came off the bench to earn a steal, pull down 5 rebounds and net an assist and 10 points. Reserves Jovanny Fabre and Messiah McLaurin saw lots of time to help in the pursuit.
Final score: 66-62 Tompkins Cortland
