Men's Basketball Keeps Rolling

The SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves secured a 74-54 victory over Roxbury Community College in the first of two games at the Northern Essex Turkey Classic on Saturday. Both teams struggled offensively in the first half, with Adirondack holding a slim 29-28 lead at the break.
However, the Timberwolves came out strong in the second half, led by freshman Messiah McLaurin and sophomore Tyre Williams. McLaurin contributed 15 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds, while Williams added 11 points to help Adirondack build a commanding lead that they would never relinquish.
Xavier Sanchez also played a key role off the bench, scoring 11 points on a perfect 4-for-4 shooting performance. The win improved the Timberwolves' record to 5-1, marking their best start to the season in over 15 years.
Adirondack will look to extend their winning streak when they face off against national powerhouse Northern Essex Community College in the second game of the Northern Essex Turkey Classic on Sunday.
