Adirondack Men's Basketball Secures 4th Straight Victory to Wrap Up Semester Play
Queensbury, NY – December 15, 2024
The SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves closed out their fall semester with an emphatic 97-48 victory over Columbia-Greene Community College on Sunday night. This dominant performance marks the team's fourth consecutive win, pushing their season record to 9-2 and improving their NJCAA Region 3 record to an impressive 8-1.
The Timberwolves showed their depth and team chemistry, with all 13 players who stepped on the court contributing to the victory. Freshman standout Jovanny Fabre led the charge with 11 points, while five other players added 10 points each, showcasing the balanced offensive attack. Messiah McLaurin, Eugene Johnson, Mariano Dicaterino, Jalen Thomas, and Edison Hernandez all reached double figures, making it a complete team effort from start to finish.
With the win, the Timberwolves will now look ahead to the start of the second semester, where they will travel to face SUNY Ulster on January 13th. SUNY Adirondack is poised for another strong showing in the second half of the season as they continue their push for NJCAA Region 3 supremacy.
